What I Did Today ♥

I spent my day today with my mom and best friend. We ate Japanese food and went shopping at Daiso. ♥

I couldn't eat all of this but what I did eat was delicious. 

Daiso always has the cutest selection of socks!!

Starbucks is selling buy one get one free for their holiday drinks between 2 and 5 pm until the 17th!

I didn't buy very much things at Daiso I just bought stuff for my Christmas crafts and other little things.

Hello! I'm just making this post to let you guys know about my new url and Blogmas!

I changed my url on here to lilackittens so that it is the same as my Twitter & Instagram. 

I might not be posting as frequently as I have been the next two weeks or so because I'm preparing for Blogmas. If you don't know what Blogmas is it is basically Blogging everyday of December, leading up to Christmas! I have lots of posts planned including DIY, outfit posts, and holiday baking as well. ♥

♡ 11 - 23 - 12 ♡

today i went shopping with my mom and one of my best friends, whitney! we went to thrift town and the comic book shop. i bought this cardigan that reminds me a little of something my grandma would have worn.♡(｡･ω･｡) i also found a care bear! Sunshine bear! He's small though but that's okay because any care bear will fit in my collection/family of care bears and stuffed animals. :3 

i also bought a shirt that's really pretty, it's not vintage i don't think but it's really cute! i might post a picture of myself wearing it sometime this week. After we went to the thrift store we went to Treasure Island Comics in my town. I had never been there before and it was a really nice shop! I'm definitely going to be going there more often.

I forgot to mention that when we were at the thrift store my friend bought me a pearl-look bracelet! ♡ If you've ever talked to me about jewelry, or stones in general, you'd know that pearls are my favorite, whether they're real or not. I just think they're so beautiful and lovely to look at! I'm currently trying to find a pearl necklace that fits me right. I haven't had any luck yet but I'll find one eventually. :)

Tonight I'm going to my aunt's house to have turkey enchiladas with her, my uncle and my cousins! I'll probably be posting again tonight though. (Hint: It's related to christmas gifting!)

♡ Thanksgiving 2012 ♡

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! My day started off with a drive through the Niles canyon. :3 It's such a pretty scenic route, I had to take a picture of it. The leaves on the trees were what really had me excited. It finally feels like fall here in northern California and that makes me so happy!♡ Me & my mom went to my grandparents house to have thanksgiving dinner with them. We spent most of the day there, before we went to my aunt's house, on my dad's side.My grandparent's were in a good mood considering they can be two of the grumpiest people ever.My grandmother even commented on the weight I've lost, so that made me feel good. We waited a while for the rest of my mom's family to show up, my sister and her family, my cousins and my uncle and his wife. My cousin cooked a turkey because my grandma wasn't going to and it was the best turkey I've ever had. I don't know if that's because I never eat turkey or what but it was really good. c: My grandma and I took my little nephew,
Waylon, to the park and she watched him play on the playground and I went on the swingset, because I like to pretend I'm 5 years old. (not really swingsets are just awesome.) Me and my mom left shortly after we came back from the park because i wanted to go and see my dad's family. We got to my aunt's house as everyone was leaving but I still got to see them so I was happy about that. I really am thankful for all of my family. Even though we don't get along sometimes they're still my family and I love them regardless.♡ I'm also thankful for my two darling kitties, Oliver & Chacha, and my best friends, Whitney & Gabi. :3 That's all for today! Tomorrow is black friday and I'm going to the mall with Gabi and one of her friends. I'll most likely be posting anything i find tomorrow! I hope you all had a great thanksgiving!

♡ 11-21-12 ♡

Today I spent the day with my mom. :3 We went to go and get my hearing aids from my doctor. I like these ones because they're not as noticeable as my old ones! I didn't take a picture because i thought that would be really weird hahaha c:
Afterwards we went to my aunts house but i was pretty much asleep so I didn't really get to spend time with her. I'm trying to convince my mom to take me to her house tomorrow after my grandma's house for thanksgiving.
When we left my aunts house we went and got sushi from oedo! I ordered crunchy california rolls because i was craving them all week. I was teasing my friend whitney on twitter by bragging about being there without her but then i felt bad because she's actually in town today. I'm really bad when it comes to bragging about
things. I'll probably take her with me the next time I go and she's here. c: After we left the sushi place we went to the nail salon and Ross. I didn't have time to get my nails done but I did finally get to do my eyebrows. :3 I found this really cute sweater that is almost like the one I wanted from Forever 21! I actually think it is the same sweater but this one was extremely cheaper. ~ We went to safeway to get all the stuff we had to make to bring to my grandma's house tomorrow and we also decided to make a chili relleno casserole. It didn't taste exactly how I thought it would but it wasn't too bad! I'll probably post the recipe we used after i finish writing this. :3 I was going to bake stuff to take to my grandmas house tomorrow but I thought I'd be too tired to bake tonight so I decided not to. I kind of regret it now because all I'm doing tonight is listening to Lady Gaga, cuddling with my cats and blogging.  I'll probably be baking a lot next month though so whatever I bake then I'll post on here! I'll try and make another post tomorrow or the day after about how my thanksgiving and day after went. c: But for now i'm going to go and post the recipe for the chili relleno casserole for you guys.

the holiday season is here...♡

I'm excited for it to be almost Thanksgiving, because I like food hence why I am fat. I'm probably going to be making these gluten free pumpkin cookies i found on pinterest since I don't know how to cook, I only know how to bake. :3

Then on Friday  I'm going to Gabi's house and we're going to spend the day together doing fun stuff(shopping I think) and then after we're going to the niles parade! I don't think she's been there before so I'm excited to take her there for the first time! 

Every year the weekend after thanksgiving me and my mom always put up the tree/decorate the house, so i'm also happy about that. 

Sometime during the month of December me and Gabi are going to San Francisco so we can go shopping in the haight-ashbury district. That's going to be after her birthday, for her birthday she wants to go to the cheesecake factory. c: I HAVE SO MANY THINGS I WANT TO GET HER FOR HER BIRTHDAY BUT I DON'T HAVE ANY MONEY. i'll probably end up merging her birthday and Christmas gifts together but that's okay because it's going to be a bunch of great stuff and I'm the best friend anyone could ever ask for.~*

Also during December me and Whitney are going to be getting together at her house in Santa Cruz, since she's just as excited about the holidays as i am, and we're going to bake stuff and watch Christmas movies. (─‿‿─)♡
