♥ Review: Leg Avenue - "Plus Size" Cuban Heel Stockings ♥

I've been wanting a pair of Cuban heel stockings for months now. When I saw that Leg Avenue had a pair of them available for plus sizes I got really, really, excited! I received them in the mail this afternoon as I was leaving my house and was so excited the entire time I was out to go home and try them on. When I got home I slid them on and they fit everywhere but the top of my thighs. I put my garter belt on and it kinda helped them stay up but the sides were still falling down! You can kinda see that in the second picture. 

 I'm bummed that I won't be able to wear them at the moment but I'm going to keep them and see if they fit in a few months, after I've been running more!

I am between a size 18 and a size 20 right now and I think the only sizes these would really fit would be anywhere between an 18 and a 14. The material is thinner than most of my other stockings and I had to try extra hard not to make a run in them while putting them on.

I gave them a 3 instead of a 2 because even though the material is crappy they are still really cute stockings and I haven't been able to find any other Cuban heel stockings!

Dealing with body shamers..

Someone on tumblr messaged me the other day asking me why I dress so fancy and they basically said I shouldn't do that because I am fat. Then they also asked me if I dress up to be accepted by other people and then told me that it would never work because I am fat.

I don't care if they were trying to be mean or if they were just genuinely curious. I don't dress up for anyone but myself. I like dressing girly and I apparently love making people uncomfortable by me, a fat girl, dressing in cute pastel colors and polka dots.

If anyone ever gives you shit for wanting to dress a certain way tell them to mind their own business! 

It really doesn't concern them and they need to sort out their priorities if they're seriously getting their panties in a bunch over what a fat person wears! If you want to wear baggy t-shirts and jeans then do it. If you want to wear a pencil skirt and a peplum top with a huge bow on the back, do it! If you want to wear a banana costume then you go do that! Don't ever let anyone tell you that you can't wear certain things because you are bigger than them. It's your life not theirs and you have every right to do what you want with your life as long as you're not hurting yourself or other people!
